While these sites combined give a pretty comprehensive idea of the setting and Alfred's history, there is some additional information that comes out through conversations in the series. When Alfred was younger, he has stated that his mother left, and his father encouraged him to keep his condition a secret since 'no one likes an anomaly.' He also mentions having a hard time leaving his home, having to work up the guts for hours just to do something as simple as shopping for groceries, due to how easily overwhelmed he is by too many stimuli - thankfully this is something that his training at Camp X has helped him with.

Personality:
- compassionate and warm
- fragile but resilient
- intelligence, memory
- easily overwhelmed
- synaesthetic overload
- impulsive but moralistic
- determined but weak

Appearance:

Abilities: Alfred's abilities are special, but not superhuman, as his canon is completely grounded in the normal world. Alfred has a serious case of synaesthesia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synesthesia), a condition in which senses or perceptions are fused together. While most people with the condition experience a fusion of two senses, Alfred's is a rare case that involves all five senses interchangeably. For example, he sees the written word in various colours, associates colours with emotions, and can taste sounds. This condition, combined with his high intelligence, has resulted in an eidetic memory (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eidetic_memory) - through associating all the various stimuli he experiences in any given moment, he can gather and retain incredible amounts of information in a short span of time. For example, in one of the Camp X training video extras, he was able to recite what happened to him exactly one year before, down to the minute. In his spy career, he usually uses this to memorize layouts of target buildings, target faces, and to collect intel without having to copy it physically.

Alfred also has moderate levels of basic military training (though he flunked out due to his condition) and some basic spy training through Camp X. He is capable of using radios, and various other gadgets from early WWII, but mostly only through memorization. He can speak rudimentary French and German, both non-fluently. While he is capable of fighting and can use guns, he's much more the one of the brains than the brawn of his team.

BONUS OPTIONAL SECTION:
(See the Application page for full information. Warning: opting in means your character has experienced death!)
Opt-in?: (Yes/No)
What the character is going to lose: (Only if 'Yes')
Why you picked it: (why it's important to them; a few sentences is fine; only if 'Yes')

▸SAMPLES:
(One sample may be a link to a post/log thread of decent length that's occurred in the last six months from another game, or from a meme/musebox if the setting is the same as what the character will be apped from and the thread provides a good example of characterization — i.e. no AU settings or overly cracky memes. The other sample must be written to take place in Carvaka's setting.

For the Carvaka-specific sample, we're looking for a good example of character voice and how the character will adapt to the setting. We suggest avoiding "where am I?" or "where are my friends?" type samples, as these tend to be generic and often not fully representative of a character's normal behavior. You can still send in these kinds of samples if you wish to, but we advise applicants to consider whether or not they fulfill the requirements that we're looking for.)

First Person:
